The 5th Annual Business Innovation International Forum Was Held

The 5th Annual Business Innovation International Forum under the slogan "STEP FORWARD INTO THE NEW REALITY" has been held on Nov.10-11, 2017. The two-day Forum is being implemented by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE) in Dilijan, Armenia. It claims to become the Armenian "Davos", where innovative and technological urgent issues are raised.

During the two-day Business Innovation Forum interactive workshops have been organized where the Armenian and international experts discussed the perspectives and problems of digitization, research, ICT culture, innovation, intellectual property, IT security and technology education. The recommendations on the raised issues will be summarized and published in the near future.

There were international experts from Germany, Belgium and Romania. Armenia was represented by the Center for Strategic Initiatives, Ucom, BetConstruct, D-Link, GG, Masys Tech, FimeTech, VOLO, Instigate, X-Tech, Cyber Gates, Anania Shirakatsi Lyceum, Microsoft Innovation Center, Enterprise Incubator Foundation, Gyumri Information Technologies Center, Breavis and representatives of other companies and experts. The list of speakers at the Business Innovation Forum is represented at www.bif.am.

The Business Innovation Forum is traditionally organized by UITE, under the high patronage of Prime Minister of RA. This year’s Business Innovation Forum is organized in partnership with "Support to SME Development in Armenia" (SMEDA) project which is co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ’s Private Sector Development in South Caucasus Programme. SMEDA is part of the EU4Business and EU4Innovation initiatives of the European Union.
